"I"... Don't Remember

Shortly after my mother moved to heaven, I visited with my dad and felt the need to apologize to him. Without details, I just wanted to say I was sorry for all the goofy things I did that at times, made life so difficult for him and my mom. My dad just looked at me and said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about nor do I remember what you’re talking about All I know, is that I’m so proud of you.” He then began sharing with me specifically what he meant by his statement. At first, I wasn’t sure if he had heard me correctly, so I tried to remind him…but there was no persuading my dad. In spite of the list of the failures in my mind’s rolodex, he was proud of who I was becoming.
I left that day a bit in awe as the Holy Spirit reminded me that the Father says in His Word, “…as far as the east is from the west, your sins are forgotten.” (Psalm 103:12)
My earthly father had become a reflection of Our Heavenly Father’s Heart. What an amazing gift to me.
Years later I was having another one of those “repeat-apology moments." My earthly dad had recently moved to heaven, and I was in a "season"...During this time, the Father was detangling me back into the deep places of His Heart. I woke up this particular morning to yet again, tell the Father how sorry…but…before I could even complete the sentence, I heard in my spirit, “Ssh…”
And then, this poem was born.
This is not for me alone, but for all of His sons and daughters living in the Righteousness of Christ. That would be you, too, if you have received Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.
As we continually mature and shift from Glory to ever increasing Glory, may we all know that Our Father finds no fault in us.
.
“I Find no fault in You,”
I heard Him say today.
“I Find no fault in You,”
“But LORD, I…” …” Ssh, I Say…
I Find no fault in You.
Release My Sound of Truth
To those under My Blood…
I find no fault in You.”
“The darts of faults that fly,
Pesky words of “this” and “that.”
Those darts were never meant
To even graze your back.”
“For-My-Blood It cries, the Words
Of-what-follows-you day and night.
Not darts of fault, but Mercy
And My Goodness, all-the-days of Your Life”.
“So, listen My dear (your name)
I Chose You. You are Mine.
I Find no fault in You.
Believe and You will Find…”
“You are Mine.”
(Isaiah 43:1)
“Even before He made the world,
God Loved us and chose us in Christ
to be holy and without fault in His Eyes.”
(Ephesians 1:4)
“To Him Who is able to keep you from stumbling
and to present you before His glorious presence
without fault and with great joy.”-
(Jude 1:24)
"Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."
(Philippians 1:2)
