Thank you for stopping by.
I'm really excited to begin sharing with children the love, beauty and sometimes humor of the Father... 
the Father Who sent the Lord Jesus.
I'm not a writer because that was always a dream.
But looking back, I've been writing throughout my life and God was preparing me for this moment. I submit that perhaps, we've all been writing as we mature, whether with a pen or in our thoughts and conversations within.
Before Miss Lovey-Bird, I wrote extensive and standard-driven lesson plans for music, K through 6...General and Instrumental...and with a colleague that was amazing and a true blessing.

After 3 years out-of-the-classroom,"I literally shot up out of bed one morning with a story that had embedded in my mind. I quickly retrieved my journal and pen, and wrote my first Miss Lovey-Bird story. It wasn't The King's Parade, but one that's on the way and coming soon. Of course there have been lots of "in-between" ...from that morning and the appearance of the first Miss Lovey-Bird Book.

My desire is that these stories will not only bring an experiential love of God and the Joy of Heaven on Earth to children...but to also bring His encouragement, comfort, healing and whatever you, the story-reader, may be needing at the end of the day.
